Slipstream and Kobalt Partner to Expand Companies’ Capabilities and Offerings to Global Music Marketplace

The deal, which includes an investment from Kobalt into Slipstream whose production music catalog contains more than 650,000 tracks, expands the capabilities of both companies in a significant way, bringing together complementary technology and expertise to serve the entire music publishing ecosystem, from the world’s top songwriters to brands and creative businesses of all kinds.
Slipstream announced last month that they acquired Anthem Entertainment’s production music businesses, specifically U.S.-based Jingle Punks and 5 Alarm Music and UK-based Cavendish Music. The acquisition bolstered Slipstream’s music production library by more than 650,000 tracks, making the company the largest global independent music licensing company. Slipstream provides creator-safe music for digital content makers, as well as, to the traditional film, television and advertising community.
