The Weeknd Takes Home Top Award as Songwriter of The Year
16 Total Kobalt Songwriters Win Prestigious Awards
APRIL 20, 2021 - At the conclusion of the recent ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) awards, Kobalt today announced 16 of its songwriters and clients won 16 of the distinguished ASCAP Pop awards. One of the most coveted honors, songwriter of the year, went to pop superstar Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye on the back of his double platinum album, After Hours.
