Kobalt Signs Global Publishing Deal with “Gata Only” Producer Yamil

Los Angeles, CA - August  28 2024 -  Kobalt announced today that it has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Yamil, the producer behind “Gata Only,” the global hit by Chilean singers FloyyMenor and Cris MJ which has just crossed the 1 Billion stream threshold on Spotify. In addition to his success with “Gata Only,” Yamil worked on another hit track with Cris Mj, “Si No Es Contigo” which peaked at Number 3 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.

“Gata Only” went Number 1 on both Hot Latin Songs and Latin Streaming Songs chart and peaked at Number 2 on Spotify’s Top 50 Global Songs chart. Yamil is currently working on an EP of his own, featuring many of his longtime collaborators, as well as a brand new album with Cris MJ and Floyymenor.
