ARTIST BIOS Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III, better known by his stage name Aloe Blacc, burst on the scene with his vocal contribution to the worldwide hit, “Wake Me Up” by Avicii, and quickly followed up with his successful singles, “The Man” and “I Need a Dollar”- with the former reaching No. 1 on the UK charts. He released his debut album titled, Lift Your Spirit in 2013 and went on to collaborate with many other well known artists, including Owl City, Pharrell and DJ Khalil. Aloe Blacc continues to make incredibly valuable contributions to the music industry and collaborates with hitmakers creating outstanding music.
Canadian singer and songwriter, Carly Rae Jepsen gained worldwide notoriety in 2012 with her Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum breakout single, “Call Me Maybe”. The track reached number one in 18 countries during 2012 and was the year's best-selling single worldwide. This year, she released her third album with an ‘80’s influence entitled, Emotion. Its single, "I Really Like You", reached the top five in the United Kingdom.
It's a family affair for Echosmith, the American indie pop band comprised of siblings Graham, Sydney, Noah and Jamie Sierota. The group experienced a musical upbringing, learning to play several instruments at home. Echosmith’s hit song, "Cool Kids", reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, was certified double-platinum by the RIAA with more than 1.2 million albums sold in the United States and also reached double-platinum by ARIA in Australia. The band's debut album, Talking Dreams, was released in late 2013 and dubbed “youthful with a dance-rock feel.”
Noel Zancanella is an LA-based songwriter and producer who has written smash hits for rock and pop artists such as OneRepublic, Maroon 5, B.o.B, Gym Class Heroes, Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat. The son of jazz musicians, Zancanella grew up to the sound of music. He learned to play bass and drums early on and eventually worked alongside the biggest names in music, including Janet Jackson. Zancanella also co-wrote OneRepublic's hit, "Good Life", which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and sold 3.5 million copies.
Rowan Tyler Jones, better known by his stage name, Route 94, is a British producer and musician. As a former dubstep producer known as Dream, Jones worked with Skream, Benga and Katy B. Now as a deep house producer, his single, "My Love", charted to number one in three countries.
English singer-songwriter, James Bay didn’t need long to release what would become his first platinum single, after releasing, “Hold Back the River” in 2014. It would go on reach No. 2 on the UK charts. Quickly following up with his debut album, Chaos and the Calm in 2015, Bay would go on to receive three Grammy nominations, including one for Best New Artist.
Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, a.k.a. KYGO, is a Norwegian DJ and record producer who has been labeled by Billboard as “the next EDM superstar.” He established himself with his popular remixes, including the track "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, which led to sold-out shows across North America and Europe. In late 2014, he released his second single, “Firestone”, which has more than 300 million plays on Spotify and 120 million views on YouTube.
English synthpop act, La Roux, was originally formed in 2006 by singer Elly Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid. Their debut album, La Roux (2009) won a Grammy and produced hit singles, "In for the Kill" and "Bulletproof", with more than 20 million and 40 million plays on Spotify respectfully. Langmaid eventually left the duo, however Jackson continued to rock on using the name La Roux and released a second album in 2014 entitled, Trouble in Paradise.
