MIAMI – June 6, 2018 – Kobalt, a music and technology company built for artists, songwriters, publishers and labels as an alternative to the traditional music business model, announced that it has signed singer/songwriter, Ozuna. The worldwide agreement includes publishing administration for all of Ozuna’s future works as well as his back catalogue.

In 2015, Juan Carlos Ozuna emerged onto the Latin music scene after two of his tracks, "Si Tu Marido No Te Quiere" and "No Quiere Enamorarse" went viral on YouTube — today, he has amassed more than 10 billion views and 11 million followers on social media. Ozuna closed 2016 with more than 250 sold-out concerts in North America, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean and achieved a goal that no other Latin artist ever reached before: having 12 songs in Billboard Hot Latin Songs Charts - Top 50 at the same time. He is also the only independent artist in urban Latin music that has managed to peak five simultaneous tracks in the Apple Music Top 10.
In 2017, he won Best New Artist of the Year at the Latin American Music Awards, and this past March, Pollstar named his “Ozuna World Tour” one of the top 20 most successful world tours worldwide. Additionally, he is the ambassador of his own non-profit organization named Odisea Children, which strives to help impoverished and underprivileged children around the world get access to a proper education.
