Kobalt Signs Multi-Grammy Nominated Producer & Songwriter OZ To Global Publishing Deal

JUNE 14, 2023 – Kobalt today announced that it has signed multi-Grammy nominated record producer and songwriter from Switzerland, OZ, to a worldwide publishing agreement, including global synch and creative services.

Ozan Yildirim, also known as OZ, is notoriously known for creating sounds of the future, collaborating on multiple number-one hits, including Drake’s “Toosie Slide,” Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” and “Highest in the Room'' and Future’s “Life Is Good.” In 2022, he was awarded with SOCAN’s International Achievement Award and ASCAP’s Rhythm and Soul Award for production on Drake’s “Girls Want Girls.” The same year, he was featured on XXL’s Best Hip Hop Producers List.

Although he has Turkish roots, OZ reigns from a small village in Switzerland and recalls spending “all of (his) time, Monday to Friday, just making beats” at the beginning of his music career. He has produced for countless household names, such as Drake, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, and Trippie Redd. Some of OZ’s most notable works include Drake’s Views (“U With Me?”), Logic’s Bobby Tarantino II (“Contra”), Nav’s Reckless (“Champion”), DJ Khaled’s Khaled Khaled (“Greece feat. Drake”), and Drake’s Certified Lover Boy (“Girls Want Girls').
