FEBRUARY 2, 2022 – Kobalt today announced the promotion of Emily Bines to Vice President, Creative. Based in Los Angeles, Bines has signed key Kobalt clients such as Clarence Coffee Jr, Nick Long, Channel Tres, JPEGMAFIA, mxmtoon, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Violet Skies and Jasmine Cephas Jones. In addition, Emily works closely with our boutique publishing companies including TruSauce, Orange Music, Zelig, 88 Rising, SheWrites Publishing and more to facilitate creative collaboration throughout the company.

Bines is the Chair of the Kobalt Los Angeles Community Outreach Committee – raising money for local charities like The Trevor Project and Midnight Mission. She is also the Co-Chair of Kobalt’s DEI Community Task force. Outside of Kobalt Emily is also a Songwriting Co-Chair and Los Angeles Chapter Head for She Is The Music (SITM), where she helps curate writing camps around the world.
